About CES
Rooted in service.
Growing through education.
Educating generations since 1916.
Charotar Education Society was founded in Anand on 16 April 1916 by Shri Motibhai Amin, the man Gandhiji called the "Pearl of Charotar". He wanted village children to get a good education close to home.
It began with 27 students in three classrooms, the school we now know as D.N. High School. Today that one school has grown into 31+ institutes, from pre-primary to Ph.D., across three campuses in Anand.
